Poetry in Presteigne 2015

A new poetry festival for Mid Wales

16 – 18 October 2015

See Programme page for details of events.

Welcome to the first Poetry in Presteigne Festival, set in the small, historic county town of old Radnorshire, now part of Powys.

We are delighted to host a truly inspirational gathering of poets from the four corners of Wales, together with invited guests and talented musicians, each bringing their own thoughts, insights and imaginings for an exciting weekend of poetry and music.

Look out for the Words on the March poetry trail, pop-up poetry for children, bookstalls, exhibitions and the festival café.

Discover the tranquillity of quiet country lanes and byways, the River Lugg and the beautiful hills beyond the town.Take time to listen and time to talk. Come and share with us the wonder of words.
